Coast to Coast

DOT have printed cycling shirts for local digital advertising agency, Chemistry http://www.chemistrygroup.co.uk/ who have completed the Coast to Coast cycle route stretching 130 miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland. The team of 6 raised nearly £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support http://www.macmillan.org.uk and St. Luke’s Hospice http://www.stlukeshospice.com/

They completed the ride in 13 hours and looked rather dashing in their matching cycling shirts!

Train to Gain

We have recently signed up two of our screen printers to the Government ‘Train to Gain’ scheme http://www.traintogain.gov.uk/ This involves work based learning and formal NVQ qualifications delivered in house on a monthly basis by Leicester College http://www.leicestercollege.ac.uk/, who specialise in manual carousel screen printing. As well as monitoring by a qualified trainer and assessor, the guys will have to produce written modules on all areas of the business. Good luck to Brett and Sam!

White Water Ride

DOT Promotional Clothing have just completed work on the tracksuits and team kit for the British White Water Rafting Team. The team took two silver medals at the European Championships last week in Mezzana, Italy. Congratulations to our very own Zach P! Check out the photos…..

To celebrate the release of the new Robin Hood film this month, all of the staff at Dot are going to be wearing green tights. If you would like to see the men in action, come along and bring your t-shirt orders. First come, first served! And if you are lucky we may have some cakes from the bakery next door.

Hatrick

Dot have performed a hatrick over the past week. We have produced work for 3 British teams: British Judo, British Gymnastics and GB Raft Race.

With London 2012 fast approaching, we are aiming for our portfolio of British teams to grow and grow.

The two partners will be Richard Hewitt and Zach Pillinger. Big thanks must go out to all those companies who looked after us at the Printwear & Promotion Tradeshow. We have returned with too many freebies to carry, and minds are full of ideas and enthusiasm to match.

The Dot crew comprised of Rich, Zach, Gaz, Rikki Boom and ‘Johnny Come Lately’ Simeon from Bantum fame. Special thanks to Ranks and the girls for putting up with the persistant Rikki Boom……we hope to catch you all soon to share some of the new information on t-shirt printing, embroidery and garment supply.
